How To Do A Basic Return To Sender

Spiritual warfare seems to be at an all time high with gossip, envy, jealousy, and hexing more of a nuisance lately.  And as petty as it may seem, these are not situations that we can afford to ignore as jealous thoughts and slander have the power to block our blessings. It's in these situations where it becomes necessary to do a revocation. I consider revocations preemptive magic. They're a simple working you can do before having to resort to hexing. They're also a way to deal with an enemy without having to get your hands dirty. A revocation is a spell in which one simply returns, or revokes, whatever negative energy that was thrown on them. Almost like a spiritual “return to sender” if you will. What I appreciate about revocations is that they are a way of hexing back without actually hexing because you are essentially returning what was initiated by someone else. Revocations are relatively simple and they can do wonders when it comes to removing blockages. I always recommend that people perform a revocation before moving forward with any left-hand (cursing) work or engaging in full on spiritual war.

In order to do a revocation you’ll need the following

  • 1 small plate or saucer

  • 1 glass cup or jar

  • 1 pillar candle (any size, preferably white though some use red)

Once you’ve gathered your items you’ll need to follow these steps

  1. Fill the glass cup with water.

  2. Place the saucer on top of the glass.

  3. Keeping the glass and saucer together, turn them upside down so that the glass is sitting top down on the saucer. Gravity will prevent the water from spilling out.

  4. Light the white pillar candle and place it on top of the glass. You may need to put a little bit of hot wax on the glass and push the candle into the wax for it to stay without falling over.

*To enhance the work you can recite Psalm 7, Psalm 23, or Psalm 19 as you light the candle

  1. Allow the candle to burn all the way through.

  2. Once the candle goes out you may pour out the water, throw away the wax, and wash the glass jar.

That’s it! You may need to do the revocation a few times in order to break the energy that has been thrown at you. As always I suggest you follow your intuition and do what feels right.
