Harnessing The Holy Ghost

Spiritism for Black Folks

Develop your mediumship and learn how to work with your spirit guides

This very unique course is intended to be an in depth exploration, training, and education on the practice of Spiritism as it pertains to the African American experience. Spiritism (also known as spiritist doctrine, Kardecism, and Kardecist spiritism) is a spiritualistic doctrine formed by Allan Kardec in the mid 19th century. Though it is a nondenominational practice with Christian elements it became heavily incorporated and practiced by Puerto Rican, Cuban, Dominican, and other Caribbean  spiritualists as well as initiates of African and Diasporic Traditional Religions. Spiritism can be practiced no matter what religion one identifies with and is a wonderful tool for developing mediumship and building a relationship with one's spiritual court.

Harnessing the holy ghost is an interactive 8 week online course that combines a “work at your own pace” format with video and written lectures, homework assignments, and course materials. Topics covered include spiritism in African American culture, how to build an altar, ways to communicate with spirits, how to work with various spirits (including orisha worship for the non-initiate), and much more!
