Join us in celebrating the orisha Oya on her feast day. Oya is the warrior, the wind and lightening, the mother of the marketplace, the guardian of the cemetery gates, and the very air we breathe. We’ll be presenting a modest throne to Oya and sharing food/refreshments. Guests are welcome to bring offerings to Oya. Acceptable offerings include:

• flowers

• purple candles

• fruit

• chocolate

• masks

• sweets and desserts
